It was great to work with volunteers on Saturday 4th of July to clear and plant up the small roundabout at the Leats in Truro. Led by our grower, Rob, we planted a variety of herbs that will be free for people to pick once they're established and have grown a bit more.
Many people like to sit on the bench that surrounds the roundabout, taking a bit of time to relax, have a snack, a drink, catch up with messages on their phone or just watch the world go by.
One thing we noticed that is missing from the area is a public rubbish bin, and so it is not a surprise that the roundabout is sometimes used as a bin by a few people. We hope that Cornwall Council will provide a public bin soon.
